Would you share a nail file with a stranger?  Would you ask to borrow someone's lip balm to apply on your dry, cracked lips?  Would you use another person's nail polish alongside your freshly trimmed cuticles?  Of course not, and why not?  In each situation, you would be putting your body at risk of infection against serious fungal infections and, worse yet, MRSA.  MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) is a bacterium responsible for numerous human infections.  Also known as multidrug-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus, it is more difficult to treat and therefore more dangerous than other infections.

Our medical staff understand all of this.  At The Foot & Ankle Centers, our state-licensed Medical Nail Technician (MNT) has advanced certification and completed an internship under the direction of a podiatrist.  She is educated and experienced on the risks and takes the precautions necessary to protect each and every patient from infection.  At the same time, she has eight years' of experience at high end salons so that your experience is gentle and relaxing.  Each instrument used is disposable or sterilized, and even our nail polish will not be cross-contaminated in between clients.

Because our Medical Pedicures and Manicures are performed in the safe setting of a doctors' office, you can rest assured your nails will not only look their best, but you will walk away feeling your best.  And because this is a professional doctors' office, we request please no gratuities.  Call us at 630-553-9300 to schedule your Medical Pedicure or Manicure which we promise will be an experience like no other!
